Beverly Goldberg's Garage Sale

The real Beverly Goldberg and Wendi McLendon-Covey who portrays her in "The Goldbergs"
Talk about Jewish Mom Guilt.

The real-life Beverly Goldberg, who is brilliantly plaid by Wendi McLendon-Covey in the hit ABC series "The Goldbergs" is cleaning house.

The ultimate "smother" has too much stuff, and wants her sons to take it off her hands....but they can't.

The real Adam F Goldberg
A Queen Anne Style Wing Back Chair estimated at $400-$600
According to her son Adam F Goldberg, "She's been trying to give us these things for two decades now, but me and my brothers don't physically have room for them, no one does."

A Feldenkreis Maple Highboy, from Adam Goldberg's bedroom Estimate: $300 - $500

So what's a smotherer to do?  Use Twitter to guilt them of course.  @Goldilocks405 has been posting pics of her boys and the furniture that she wants to part with in order to guilt them into keeping it, but it's not working.  So in retaliation, Mrs. Goldberg has gone through with her threat to auction off the pieces.

According to Adam, "My mom will immediately regret selling these items and try to buy them back.  The woman can't part with a lopsided clay ashtray I made when I was 5...let alone our dining room table!"

A Leather Easy Chair and Ottoman, Murray Goldberg Estimate $300-$400

The Goldbergs is one of the BEST comedies on TV and we love watching the real-life drama unfold as well.
