Happy Birthday Grand Central Market

Way back on October 27, 1917, Grand Central Market opened its doors to Angelenos bringing together the cuisine and cultures of LA.

The Grand Central Market has been a Los Angeles institution since 1917. At the heart of LA’s cultural and entertainment district, the Grand Central Market has been a hub of activity for over a century. Over the last few decades, the Market has continued to play a vital role in a vibrant downtown, showcasing the varied cuisines and cultures that make Los Angeles what it is today.

Still in operation and more vital than ever, the Market celebrates 100 years in business today (October 27, 2017) with a daylong celebration to mark this anniversary.  Starting at 9:30 a.m., a 100-layer cake made by Valerie Confections will be shared with all in attendance!
