What About Breakfast At Tiffany's?

To  all you Holly Golightlys out there, I say "What about breakfast at Tiffany's?"  And now you can say, "OK"

(drumroll please)

Tiffany & Co. has opened the Blue Box Café  inside the Tiffany flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York City.  YES, now you can now eat breakfast at Tiffany’s…in Tiffany.



For the first time EVER, shoppers will be able to dine inside Tiffany, overlookinng Central Park South while dressed in a black Givenchy, perils and dark glasses saying to your date, "How do I look?"  And you date better reply, "Very good. I must say, I’m amazed.”  (If you don't get this....go rent the movie)

“Both the café and redesign of the Home & Accessories floor reflect a modern luxury experience,” Tiffany & Co. chief artistic office Reed Krakoff said in a statement earlier this week. “The space is experimental and experiential — a window into the new Tiffany.”

Blue Box Cafe makes eating breakfast at Tiffany a much more luxe experience, offering set breakfast, lunch, and tea service at $29, $39, and $49 respectively.

The room is covered in the brand’s trademark blue, from the slipcovers on the chairs to the paint on the walls. Wall decorations are Tiffany window displays in miniature, filled with chrome figurines, diamonds, and homewares. You’re essentially dining in a Tiffany box.

So when you go to NYC, check it out...but “Promise me one thing: don’t take me home until I’m drunk — very drunk indeed.”
