The Scenario Studio

A photomusement experience is opening up in Los Angeles. Introducing The Scenario Studio.

In a city where your pics are almost as important as cash, Los Angeles will now be home to The Scenario Studio, a photo pop-up event featuring an inaugural collection of full-scale, interactive photography sets designed by world-famous photographer and set designer, John Ganun.

For the past 12 years, Scenario has been hired by celebrities and Fortune-500 companies to produce elaborate private photoshoots at their parties and events. The only guests who were able to enjoy a Scenario photoshoot had to be connected to a celebrity or large company, but now, for the first time ever, the public is invited to join the likes of Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Kanye West, the Kardashians, and over 100 other celebrities who have experienced Scenario on set.

Each photo set uses cutting edge LED lighting equipment and techniques to allow guests to use their very own smartphone cameras to take pictures that look as good as the photos the Scenario team would normally take of celebrities using professional cameras and strobe lighting.

Now, for the first time ever, the "most expensive photo booth in the world" is available to the general public for the price of a museum ticket.

Of the seven sets to choose from, there will be replicas of the  Monte Carlo roulette table based on John Legend’s James Bond-themed party that Chrissy Teigen threw for him on his 40th birthday, with props including chips and money.

There’s also the Katy Perry schoolroom detention set used for her 30th birthday sock hop-themed party as well as black-and-white scenario based on Fred Astaire’s iconic Royal Wedding dance scene. Just in time for Halloween, there will be a haunted house as well. The others will be surprises unveiled at the opening.

Ganun urges guests to read the suggested dress code when they buy a ticket, just to get the most out of the photo. He says wear muted, boring clothes.  Nothing flashy, nothing colorful and you can’t go wrong with nice clean blacks and grays. The idea is for the clothes to disappear a little with a focus on the subject.

“I’m trying to create magazine ads, so I look at it from that point of view — you’re not just in a haunted house, you’re selling it,”  Says Gunn
