Jeremy's Spoken

Last night #IheartHollywood, got an exclusive sneak peak at the newest rooftop bar coming to the Sunset Strip.  Meet The Jeremy West Hollywood Hotel:

The Jeremy West Hollywood Hotel Rooftop Bar
Just like a Hollywood actor, The Jeremy West Hollywood Hotel once called The James, and in one year will be renamed The 1 Hotel, seems to be finding its staring role.

The Jeremy Lobby
With an interior design that features a simply modern style with sophisticated touches, The Jeremy West Hollywood Hotel has an eclectic palette. Hand-finished walls, custom designed lighting, and rich walnut paneling warm the hotel’s simple modern style. If you enter the building on Sunset Blvd, go down the dramatic stairs, through the lobby, past the cafe, and you will find JOÃO the lobby bar that overlooks Hollywood.  JOÃO, is inspired by the iconic Sunset Boulevard location and features elements of old Hollywood, affording patrons an opportunity to step back in time to the silver screen era when even libations were re-imagined with a touch of glamour.

The unpretenscous, good-looking staff at JOÃO will greet you with open arms, and there are a lot of them to serve your every need.   The modern space, a throwback to old Hollywood, serves delicious food (I had the egg and anchovy FREE Ceasar Salad...YUM) and the drinks are strong.  Happy hour is from 4-6. If you are looking for a quiet, chic, have an affair, reinvent yourself, be a star, or bring a date type place, JOÃO is for you.   THE MENU

Tom Florin, the charming Food and Beverage Manager,  took us up to the roof to the still unopened rooftop bar for a sneak peek.
Tom Florin is doing a great job bringing his Miami expertise to WeHo.

This place is a beauty.  I can already imagine the parties and the good times that are headed up there.

The outside/inside feel makes you fall back in love with the Sunset Strip.

The guest  rooms, there are 286 of them, featuring 50 suites, look cozy and clean, and have a midcentury modern feel.  If you are looking for a boutique style, modern hotel that is not a crazy party scene, check it out.
The Jeremy Hotel Guest Room
To celebrate the hotel’s debut, The Jeremy is offering guests 30 percent off room rates plus a complimentary upgrade with the “Say Hi To Jeremy” package now until December 2017. Guests can relax poolside this month with Jeremy while taking in the Instagram-worthy views of the Hollywood Hills.

The most surprising and wonderful addition The Jeremy has added is their new outdoor ART installation "The Dream Catcher"

Artist Janet Echelman created a beautiful sculpure that hangs between Jeremy's two towers. The intricate net formations are suspended between four layers of structural webbed rope, designed and engineered by architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The piece, while gracefully transforming with the pulse and energy of the city, is firmly rooted within the structural concrete of the two hotel towers that embrace it. With the ability to interact with the natural elements (wind, water, and light) and visible from all angles, each experience with Dream Catcher is unique. Accessible to the public, and ever transforming, vibrant, resilient, and social by nature, the piece is an invitation to revel in its glory and dream. It is lit by an innovative LED lighting design by Hollywood lighting designer Walter Barry known for his work on both television dramas and documentaries. The lighting ignites the space with energy and invites onlookers to revel in its glory and dream..  It was fun to see so many people back on the Sunset Stip taking selfies against this gourgous backdrop.

Along with The Dream Catcher, there are other MUST pics you have to take and post so people will know you Heart Hollywood. Dream away.....

The Jeremy Hotel....we ❤️ you.
