Are you in the mood for a "Taste of Italy?" - Saturday, October 14, 2017

The ninth-annual Taste of Italy. L.A.’s Premiere Italian Food & Wine Event featuring 35+ Fine Restaurants, 100+ wines, Celebrity Chefs and Live Entertainment to benifit the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles (IAMLA).  Taste of Italy showcases the region’s top restaurants, and award-winning wineries, as well as live entertainment, chef demonstrations, and celebrity guests.

Participants will include: Drago Centro, Angelini Osteria, Il Fornaio, Di Stefano Cheese, Valentino, Prova Pizzeria, Celestino, Grom, Il Fornaio, Urbani Truffles, Nerano, Prosciutto di Parma, and Black Market Gelato, the U.S. finalist of the Gelato World Tour. Taste of Italy brings the diversity of Italian cuisine to Los Angeles. Drago will feature their signature house made garganelli pasta with fennel pollen and lamb ragú,

Prova Pizzeria will offer authentic Neapolitan pizza fired in a wood burning oven, and Carrara Pastries will delight with creations of Food Network star Damiano Carrara, including panna cotta and frittelle (cream puffs).

Guests will be invited to try their luck at a game of bocce in the Birra Moretti Bocce Court, and enjoy their favorite Italian cocktails at Caffé Fernet Branca, featuring the iconic amaro from Milano, made with a secret family recipe handed down from generation to generation.


The entertainment lineup includes performances by LA Opera, Nick D’Egidio and the Dry Martini Orchestra and DJLo.

On the evening of event, the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles, located at 644 North Main Street, will be open until 7 pm. Admission to the museum is free but donations are encouraged.  

Cost: $60 General Admission (6 food + 6 wine food tastings) $65 at the door, $125 Premiere (10 food + 10 wine tastings, VIP bag, and red carpet entrance) $130 at the door, a limited number of reserved tables and sponsorship opportunities available.

The Italian American Museum of Los Angeles documents the history and continuing contributions of Italian Americans and Italians to Southern California and the nation.
