Now that there is a new Murder On The Orient Express, I think that it's the perfect time to book a trip on the LA RAIL the 1950's Nostalgic Rail Experience here in Los Angeles.
Taking a train trip on one of LA Rail's refurbished train cars is one of Los Angeles' best kept secrets. For the price of the ticket you get breakfast (including Belgian waffles) going to Santa Barbara and dinner coming back to Union Station. After you arrive in Santa Barbara, you have about 5 or 6 hours of free time. There are a lot of winerys in Santa Barbara to hit and get your buzz on before heading back on the train for dinner.

This sounds like such an awesome throwback experience! I have always wanted to do something like that LA Rail totally gives off those classic movie vibes. The Overland Trail sounds amazing, especially with that vintage bar setup. Honestly, this post makes me want to plan a little weekend escape myself. Kinda like when I found the best assignment writing service in Canada to take some stress off same cozy, old-school comfort vibe but for travel instead of school.
