A Real American Horror Story

Imagine buying a house in LA, only to discover that not only was it used in a hit television series, but that the fans of the show want to come in at any time.

Well,  that's what happened to actress Angela Oakenfold and her husband, cardiologist Dr. Ernst von Schwarz the new owners of the landmark Rosenheim mansion, famous for its role in the first season of American Horror Story...and they are pissed.

The couple, who purchased the home in 2015 for $3.2million, filed a lawsuit against the former owners claiming they were never informed that the 10,440-square-foot Rosenheim Mansion had been featured in season one of Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story in 2011. 'Unbeknownst to the plaintiffs, and not disclosed by the Defendants, hundreds of fans of the TV show would come to the property, trespass, attempt to break in, and created a significant nuisance not only for the Seller, but for the neighbors as well,' the lawsuit states.  Schwartz said there have been three or four instances in the past year where they had to call the police. Weird, cause, when I went there to check it out when the show was still on the air...nobody was there.

In their lawsuit, Oakenfold and von Schwarz say they are plagued by fans of the show “weekly.” The suit claims that the regularity of the attempted trespassing and break-ins has become “a significant nuisance.” The couple are also upset that the seller and brokers failed to mention the house was haunted by two ghosts...only in Hollywood, RIGHT?

YET,  despite the ghosts and obnoxious fans, the couple are planning to stay in the house.  Umm..let's be fair here.  First off, how did they NOT know that the house was in a TV show about a couple who buys this house that is haunted and tries to sue their real estate agent?  HOW?  And how is their story the EXACT SAME STORY as Season One Of American Horror Story...and how are they still not aware of the show?

Just a quick google and you can also find out that in addition to the mansion being the focus of season one of American Horror Story, it was also featured in Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Law & Order SVU.

My advice, start selling tickets for a tour....everyone wins.

American Horror Story House...we ❤️you.
