Sunday in The City Of Angels

Hey Angelinos...looking for something "Hollywood" to do this Sunday?  Here are four special events happening on Aug 5, 2018, so take your pick or try for them all....

1.  First Up...The Rock and Roll Flea Market!

50 vendors offering vintage and handmade crafts, including clothing, jewelry, memorabilia, instruments and more, as well as vinyl.  This market happens on the first Sunday of every month which is THIS Sunday. Guests are invited to peruse the space, buy, trade, sell, and more!

If shopping isn't your thing...the space also offers two full bars, a brunch menu, DJ’s all day, and “boozy bingo,” with prizes like tickets to concerts at The Regent.

Best part is...this event is free to attend. The market opens up its doors at 11 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m.

2.  Next is the Beverly Hills Farmers Market Picklefest and Contest

Ok not so much "Hollywood" but ummmmm pickles.  From 9:00 am - 1:00 The Beverly Hills Farmers Market is hosting a Picklefest, featuring a variety of pickled fruits and vegetables

The event will include two competitions: Best Dill Pickle in Beverly Hills and an “I Can Pickle That!” competition,  featuring a wide assortment of pickled produce. A panel of judges, among them the owner of the famed deli Nate ‘n Al’s, will award $200, $100, and $50 gift cards to the winners.

3. The third annual BrunchCon LA is back.

Can't get enough "Brunch?"  You must check out BrunchCon the highly acclaimed food and drink festival that’s all about your favorite morning ritual… brunch!

Of course there will be plenty of brunch items, plus an open Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar.  In addition to brunching, there will also be photo booths, a Museum of Brunch, dancing, Mimosa Pong, Giant Jenga, corn hole, and more! and if that wasn't enough for you....

4.  Sunday August 5 is also National Oyster Day! Herringbone in Santa Monica will be offering $1 oysters all day long (limit two dozen per table) and Ivory on Sunset will be offering $1 oysters all day in honor of the day.  Just remember, Oysters ARE an aphrodisiacs so eat responsibly.
