Another One Bites The Dust: Mexico City

Mexico City, the restaurant in Los Feliz not the actual CITY is saying hasta luego this November.

Mexico City, one of the best Mexican Restaurants "on that side of town" is shutting its doors. This cool little hipster joint that always reminded me of a Mexican Diner had strong drinks, great food, and a cool wait staff. Sad to see it go.

If you have never been, you have missed out.  Recently, it even appeared on a Season 5 episode of "Ray Donovan" (episode six) where Ray meets with Frank. Spoiler alert, they just had coffee.

After 25 years of service, Mexico City Restaurant will be closing its doors this November. We are honored by the support we have received over the years. Los Angeles, and especially the Los Feliz neighborhood, has been incredibly good to us.

We would not have enjoyed such longevity without the neighborhood’s support, many of whom are now friends. We recognize what a popular and beloved destination Mexico City has become over the years, so we wanted to give as much notice as possible.

It has been our privilege to have been part of this community and your lives. We thank you again for your continued patronage and hope to see you in the coming weeks.
