Robin Williams Estate Sale


More than four years after his death, Robin Williams' wife is auctioning off his most prized possessions to raise money for charities.


On October 4, at Sotheby's in New York City, the collection of beloved entertainer Robin Williams and his wife, film producer and philanthropist Marsha Garces Williams, are going up for sale.
The autumn auction will showcase: film and entertainment memorabilia, including autographed scripts, awards, props and wardrobe associated with projects across Marsha’s and Robin’s careers; Contemporary art, including sculpture by Niki de Saint-Phalle and street art by Banksy, Shepard Fairey and Invader; more than 40 watches from Robin’s personal collection; a selection of bicycles and sports memorabilia; furniture and decorative art from their residences; and more.


A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, named after two of Robin's best friends, as well as several other charities.


"Robin would love it if a lot of the money was raised for the causes he was most motived to be part of," says Marsha, adding that all the items "deserve to be loved and appreciated by the next group of gauardiens," says Marsha. Every piece tells has a story, like this toy cable car that was a gift from Jonathan Winters.
