The Hugh Hefner Auction

Whether it's his trademark black silk pajamas, his red smoking jacket or his complete set of Playboy magazines, you are gonna want something from the auction of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.

The Property From The Collection Of Hugh M. Hefner Auction is finally happening.  From November 30 thru December 1, both live in LA and online at Julien's Auctions you can actually purchase a piece of history from the Playboy founder and the Playboy Mansion.

The Playboy Mansion is synonymous with Los Angeles and the Hollywood lifestyle and Hefner, who died in September 2017 at age 91, left all of his property to his foundation who are now putting some of the iconic items up for sale.

Darren Julien, owner of Julien's Auctions, and his team of experts emptied the iconic Playboy Mansion, painstakingly categorizing the thousands of pieces of furniture, art, clothing and Hollywood history to be put up for sale.

“It was like clearing Neverland all over again. Endless treasures and historical items in every room” said Darren.  (Julien's were also the ones who auctioned the Michael Jackson's Estate.)
Hefner’s white captain’s hat, a custom 1974 Monopoly board game including a Playboy bunny playing piece, his Playboy bunny logo cufflinks, 2016 passport, and his Bible are all on the block.

All the proceeds from the auction will go to The Hugh M. Hefner Foundation which was set up in 1964 to advocate for civil liberties, including LGBT rights and the legalization of medical marijuana and common sense policies on sex and drugs.

Dozens of one of a kind items are up for sale including one of Hefner’s signature pipes (estimated to sell for $2,000 to $3,000), a Playboy pinball machine made exclusively for the game room at the mansion, a 1946 Wurlitzer jukebox with 24 original albums ($10,000 to $20,000), and a 2007 limited edition set of 48 Playboy prints ($20,000 to $30,000).

How can you pick just one treasure to bid on?  There is also Hef’s college typewriter ($300-500), a leather-bound SNL script from when he hosted in 1977, his 1980 Lakers championship ring, and even a 1925 edition of The Great Gatsby and a 137 leather-bound set of every Playboy magazine which sat on shelves in the mansion's library for years, all available to buy.

Hefner’s pajamas and smoking jacket, which became a symbol of his Playboy mansion parties are estimated to sell up to $2,000 and $5,000 respectively.  I bet they go for a lot more.

So if you always dreamed of going to the Playboy Mansion (and never got to) now is your chance to own a piece.  Even the furniture is on sale here.

Go to Julien's Auction's site and register and bid on all of the treasures from Hugh Hefner and the Playboy Mansion that you want.  It's a once in a lifetime opportunity that you do NOT want to miss.

The Playboy Mansion and Hugh Hefner were just as iconic as any Hollywood Movie and just the opportunity to own any piece of it is epic. That is why we ❤️this.  See ya at the auction.
