Cause You Gotta Have "Friends"

First Ikea did it, and now Pottery Barn is doing it. All roads lead to Hollywood.

Pottery Barn has announced that they are releasing a brand new line of furniture inspired by the tv series Friends. Could you be any more excited?

The Friends collection is timed to coincide the 25th anniversary of the 1994 premiere of the series, and will include accessories, furniture, and tabletop items that would have been used by Joey, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe, and Ross as well as mugs from the characters' favorite coffee shop, Central Perk ranging from $12.50 to $1,000, and of course a replica of Rachel’s famous apothecary table, a piece of furniture so legendary that an entire episode was based around it.

The plot of “The One With the Apothecary Table" involves Rachel buying an apothecary table from Pottery Barn only to discover how much Phoebe despises Pottery Barn, so Rachel lies about where she got it, saying it’s an antique from the “days of yore.” And of course, hilarity ensues.

We are actually surprised that Pottery Barn did not release this line of furniture back in '94, but hey, we so ❤️that they are doing it now.  We just hope this opens the door to other tv inspired accessories and furniture.

The Friends collection will be vailable on July 30th online and in stores nationwide. I guess if you don't like something for yourself, you can always pick up something for your "friends." xoxo
