Buy Wayland Flowers' "Madame"

Madame, the world's most famous puppet is on the auction block, and if you got the funds, you could go home with one of the most outspoken Hollywood icons ever.

Auction #520 in the upcoming Julien's Auctions Legendary Women Of Hollywood is Madame, the grande dame with a sharp wit puppet who dressed in fabulous frocks and never met a one-liner she didn’t love; the alter ego to creator Wayland Flowers. 

Madame's gift of double entendre and her cackling laughter made her a star in the 1970s and '80s, so much so, that she even had her own tv series and book.

According to the auction house, this Madame is from the original personal collection of Wayland Flowers who at the time of his death in 1988 had numerous Madame puppets, but this one could have actually appeared on any number of television shows such as Hollywood Squares, The Tonight Show, Solid Gold, or ever her own 1982 syndicated show, Madame's Place.

The Price...probably somewhere around $10,000, but bragging rights of owning such a great piece of pop culture history... PRICELESS, and that is why we ❤️it.
