Liza’s iconic “Sally Bowles” look from Cabaret
The Paley Center in Beverly Hills has just launched Love, Liza: The Exhibit an exquisite exhibition of iconic entertainer Liza Minnelli's personal collection of costumes from her roles from stage and screen, her custom fashions created specifically for her by designer Halston and her personal photographs by Andy Warhol, Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz, and David LaChappelle.

Willkommen! And bienvenue! Welcome!

#IheartHollywood got an exclusive first look, and we were in HALSTON HEAVEN!!!  Love, Liza: The Exhibit features highlights of an upcoming auction which will happen in late May produced by Profiles in History, which will include all the items displayed here, and will also include other items from Liza's iconic parents, Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli.

Liza Minnelli said, “Throughout my long career I have collected wonderful possessions and memorabilia and now I’ve reached a point in my life where I want to simplify and share with my fans who have always been there for me. Without their unending love and support, none of this would have been possible. I hope my fans will be thrilled to not only have a chance to own a piece of my history but also that of my mother and father—Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli.”

“I am thrilled to bring Liza’s collection to auction!" said Joe Maddalena, CEO of Profiles in History, "This is exciting on so many levels: there’s Liza the Hollywood star, the socialite fashion icon, daughter of legendary actress Judy Garland and Oscar-winning director Vincente Minnelli."

So many Lizas
She’s as close to American royalty as one can get, and we have an incredible array of items spanning her childhood and illustrious career. This sale will have something for everyone,” continues Maddalena.

Halston, who launched his women's wear label in 1968, came to define American Style in the 1970s with his hip, urban chic designs worn most prominently by friend, muse, and fellow Studio 54 habitué, Liza Minnelli.

The best part of Love Liza, The Exhibition is the special room celebrating Liza's relationship with designer Halston and Studio 54.  Never again will people be able to see so many iconic pieced of Halston's career in one room.  It is breathtaking.

Liza's Personal Bound Shooting Script from Cabaret
Not only does the collection span Liza’s entire award-winning career in film, television, live performance, and recording, but it also includes photographs by Andy Warhol, Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz, and David LaChappelle.  If that wasn't enough... how about the finest collection of rare and unpublished photographs in existence on the lives and careers of Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli.  WOW!!!
