Little House, the series, is set in the 1870s and follows the life of Charles, Caroline, Mary, Laura, and Carrie Ingalls who live their lives on a farm in Minnesota.

The show is based on the original Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, a series of nine classic children's novels that chronicle the author’s childhood.

The Emmy Award-winning television series aired on NBC from 1974 to 1983 starring Melissa Gilbert as Laura Ingalls, Michael Landon as Charles Ingalls, Karen Grassle as Caroline Ingalls, Rachel Lindsay Greenbush and Sidney Greenbush as Carrie Ingalls, and Melissa Sue Anderson as Mary Ingalls, and if you were a kid during this time you know it was MUST SEE TV.
