KISS Rocked and Rolled The Sunset Strip

KISS Rocked And Rolled The Whiskey a Go Go on the Famous Sunset Strip.

KISS...Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley recently brought their makeup, tongues and platform boots to Sunset Boulevard to play the Whiskey a Go Go during a stop on their farewell tour.

If you were lucky enough to see Kiss at play at the Whiskey a Go-Go last week you experienced rock and roll history.

The star-studded show was the band's first at the iconic music venue - and although KISS sells out arenas, the group previously known as Wicked Lester couldn't pass up an opportunity to make music history in the heart of the epicenter of rock and roll.

“It all starts in the clubs. If you want to really make it, you don't do it by going on a talent musical show," Paul said. "You go into the streets and you play for people.”

The hour-long set was filled with KISS favorites from the band’s 45-year career as the band made their Whisky a Go Go debut. Completely engulfing the stage in their six-inch platforms and brand-new costumes for their farewell tour, the show felt as big as ever with tongue wagging, headbanging and synchronized rocking.

What a great treat for the fans, for Hollywood and the Whiskey a Go-Go.

KISS...we ❤️you for doing this...now could you make a part two of Phantom Of The Park?  KISS at the Whiskey A Go Go...yet another reason to ❤️Hollywood.
