Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy

The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles has a brand new exhibit entitled “Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy” and if you are a fan of movies and TV shows, you are gonna want to see THIS.

The Petersen Automotive Museum has collaborated with the ComicCon Museum to create their newest exhibition, Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy which has all the cars and vehicles from science fiction and fantasy movies that you want to see.

Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy explores cult classic films and stories that have envisioned fantastic futuristic worlds, technologies, characters and cars.  Through props, design drawings and physical vehicle models, this exhibit brings pop culture’s visions of dystopian, utopian, and science fiction worlds to life and at least some of the 40 or so cars and motorcycles from classic movies and video games on display.

From the 1966 TV Batmobile, and the one from the 1989 Batman movie, to an Audi R8 from Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War.  They even have the  DeLorean from Back to The Future and Steven Spielberg's personal Minority Report's vehicle that is on loan from his own collection.

Although a lot of these cars have been exhibited elsewhere, never before have so many gathered in one spot making this one of the most spectaclicar Hollywood car exhibitions EVER.  The museum believes they've been able to get just about every important or significant vehicle used in the science-fiction/fantasy genre.

Shows like this make us ❤️Hollywood more and more.  So thank you Petersen Automotive Museum...we ❤️you.  Vroom Vroom. xoxo
