The Assistant

In the world of #METoo and toxic work environments, The Assistant is must-see for anyone who works in the Hollywood community.

You must check out the new movie, The Assistant, the ultimate "Hollywood" #metoo movie.

“The Assistant” follows one day in the life of Jane (Julia Garner), a recent college graduate and aspiring film producer, who has recently landed her dream job as a junior assistant to a powerful entertainment mogul. Think Harvey Weinstein as an unseen character who is omnipresent.

Her day is much like any other assistant’s – making coffee, changing the paper in the copy machine, ordering lunch, arranging travel, taking phone messages, onboarding a new hire.

But as Jane follows her daily routine, she, and we, grow increasingly aware of the abuse that insidiously colors every aspect of her workday, an accumulation of degradations against which Jane decides to take a stand, only to discover the true depth of the system into which she has entered.

Not since Swimming With Sharks have we seen this kind of insight into workplace oppression and how abuses can remain hidden even from those on the inside...and how hard it is to explain to someone who has never witnessed it first hand. The movie is a wonderfully acted and is a harrowing account of how doing the right thing in Hollywood isn't always the "right thing"  Check it out...you are gonna ❤️it.

  1. I like to work online because it gives a lot of opportunities! Don't you think so? Now I have created a good job resume on the site and I really enjoy working with clients who are located all over the world! Of course, I worked hard to get such a good customer base, but I'm sure you can do it too!

  2. Bravo to The Unsent Project for creating a platform where emotions are immortalized in art. It's a symphony of vulnerability, a celebration of the unspoken tales that connect us all. Truly remarkable and deeply moving.
