The George Barris Garage Sale

Los Angeles has some of the BEST garage and estate sales in the world, and this weekend is a doozy with the long-awaited sale of George Barris Personal Collections at the "Barris Kustom Garage Sale."

George Barris as you know is the man who build such classic television cars as The Batmobile and The Munsters Koach but he was also a pop culture collector.  Now Barris' 60 year collection is available for others to buy and enjoy.

The Barris Kustom Family and Crew is excited to announce they are officially partnering with Again L.A. Estate Sales who have over 20 years of experience in hosting some of the best vintage sales in Los Angeles Hollywood area. The Again L.A. crew will be curating and creating the long awaited Barris Kustom Garage Sale this coming August 17th, 18th, 19th at the historic Barris Kustom Shop located in North Hollywood.

 It is HERE where the regulars stopped by including Elvis, Clint Eastwood, Adam West, The Beach Boys, Sonny & Cher, and John Lennon and Yoko Ono. For the FIRST time the Barris family has dug through over 60 years worth of their George Barris’ archives, attics, into every nook and cranny of the Barris Shop. They will be releasing unique collectible items, scripts, posters, books/mags, memorabilia, and MORE from the amazing collection to share with Fans and Collectors from around the world.  Everything sold will receive a George Barris C.O.A.

This sale is primarily made up of George's extensive collections of Hot Rod, Automotive, and Cycling Ephemera including 60 years of classic magazines, Car Manufacturer Promos, Hot Rod and Kustom Show Memorabilia, Original George Barris Designs, Barris Shop Memorabilia, Hollywood, Music, and Sports Celebrity Magazines over the last 50+ Years, Scripts from Films that George supplied Cars too, Record Albums, DVDs and VHS Films, and a huge amount of George's massive Film and Car Related Toy Collection.
